‘Fallout 4’ Nuka-World DLC Trailer: Where The River’s Made of Quantum!
Fuck, I need to get back into Far Harbor. And uh, the rest of the Fallout 4 DLC.
Over the past year, Fallout 4 has done a fairly admirable job of keeping players immersed in its irradiated world with a solid array of DLC expansions, but now the post-apocalyptic fun is finally coming to an end. The sixth (and final) piece of Fallout 4 DLC, entitled Nuka-World, will arrive soon, and Bethesda has released a full trailer for the expansion.
Nuka-World allows players to visit a sprawling abandoned amusement park, which is, of course, now overrun with raiders, mutants, creepy mascot robots, and other dangers. Much like certain real-life soul-sapping amusement parks, Nuka-World will be divided into zones, such as Nuka-Town, USA, Safari Adventure, World of Refreshment, Dry Rock Gulch, Kiddie Kingdom, and Galactic Zone. Each area will feature its own rides and amusements you can fool around with, and deadly threats to deal with.
Thus far, most of the Fallout 4 DLC has been fun enough, but not particularly unique or game-changing. Past Fallout games have done unexpected things like send you to Alaska or introduce aliens to the mix, so it’s nice to see Bethesda letting their hair down and flexing their creative muscles again withNuka-World.
Nuka-World can be purchased on its own for $20, or as part of Fallout 4‘s season pass. Players will be able to book their trip to Nuka-World on August 30.
