‘Battlefield 1’ E3 2016 Trailer: Your Move, Infinity Ward
I haven’t played a Battlefield game since…1942? The game, obviously. But Jesus Christ, Electronic Arts is going to get me to break the streak. This game looks fantastic.
At the publisher’s E3 press conference, Electronic Arts showed a new trailer for first-person shooter Battlefield 1. The footage was accompanied by a teaser for a beta coming in the next few months. The new trailer, which is purported to be in-game footage, showed a variety of combat scenarios involving blimps, biplanes, motorcycles, horses, and tanks. It also showed some of the “unpredictable” dynamic weather (e.g. heavy fog, rain), which will reportedly alter how a multiplayer level is played.
Last month, the first Battlefield 1 trailer received an exhaustive analysis on YouTube.Battlefield fans are known to mine the games of their tiniest secrets, so expect this new footage to be pieced for additional information in the coming weeks.
Battlefield 1 is scheduled for release on October 21, 2016 for PlayStation 4, Windows, and Xbox One.
