Watch: Ryan Reynolds celebrates ‘Deadpool’ one-month anniversary with 80s VHS Ad
This is fantastic. Reynolds has dropped a video celebrating the one-month annivesary of Deadpool in the form of a VHS ad. Such commitment to the franchise! Such commitment to profits! Such commitment to Deadpool, despite it making insane dollars and having been release a month ago. I fuck with it.
Ryan Reynolds continues to reach peak Ryan Reynolds as he keeps promoting Deadpool. His latest shenanigan is this “one month-iversary” video he posted to Twitter today featuring some of Deadpool‘s best moments–gratuitous butt shots, gun smoke sniffing, and some, uh… delicatehand gestures.
If you couldn’t tell, the video’s narrated by Reynolds himself. It also looks like it was passed through that neat VHS filter that everyone seems to be using these days, so it looks like a really neat (albeit violent) home movie.
How do you feel about this obviously milestone moment in your relationship with Deadpool? Happy? Sad? Wracked with complete and utter ambivalence?
