‘Firewatch’ coming to PC and PS4 on Feb. 9, 2016
Oh dip! Looks like one of my more anticipated titles has finally gotten a release date (no, not futzing No Man’s Sky). Campo Santo has announced that Firewatch is dropping early next year.
Firewatch, the first-person mystery adventure game set in the wilderness of Wyoming, will be released on Feb. 9, 2016, the developer announced today.
The game is coming to Linux, Mac and Windows PC, and will make its console debut on PlayStation 4. The developer says it’s aiming for a worldwide release for Firewatch, or “as world-wide as our small studio can pull off.”
Firewatch is the work of Campo Santo, a studio comprising Jake Rodkin and Sean Vanaman, both alumni of Telltale Games’ acclaimed The Walking Dead Series, as well as Nels Anderson of Klei Entertainment’s Mark of the Ninja, and the well known graphic designer Olly Moss.
