Bryan Cranston wants to play a Marvel Supervillain
It may have been obvious casting, but I’m of the opinion that the DCU fucked up when they didn’t cast Bryan Cranston as Lex Luthor. Especially since they did cast that insufferable herb Jesse Eisenberg. But hey. Maybe their loss is this Marvel fanboy’s gain. The Man Who Played The Man Who Was The One That Knocked has revealed he would love to play a villain in the MCU.
Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston makes a great meth-making villain, but what if we gave him superpowers? I know I’m still bummed that the Bryan Cranston/Lex Luthor rumors didn’t go anywhere, so maybe Marvel can jump on that.
Cranston spoke with Metro UK at the London Film Festival premiere of his new film Trumbo and mentioned that he’d love to play a “nasty” Marvel villain.
You know what I’d like to do? I’d like to do some big superhero villain in some Marvel classic.
Create one from scratch… I don’t know what I would do but it would be nasty.
