‘Incredibles 2’ gets release date; dropping June 21, 2019
Most of the time I exist in a world where I forget that Incredibles 2 is happening. I’ve never really clamored for a sequel to the original classic, and I’m not particularly excited about the prospect of a sequel. Yet, despite this, I’m pretty sure I’m going to love it. When It drops. In June, 2019.
The sequel to Pixar’s beloved The Incredibles finally has a release date.
On Thursday, Pixar announced the The Incredibles 2 — written and directed by Brad Bird again — would hit theaters on June 21, 2019.
The original film, which starred actors like Samuel L. Jackson and Holly Hunter, was released in 2004 and developed an impressive following of loyal fans soon after.
It’s been one of the studio’s most anticipated features and was finally announced at Disney’s D23 conference back in March.
Pixar also announced today the release dates for other previously announced titles.
Cars 3 has taken Toy Story 4‘s previously announced release date on June 16, 2017, while the latter film moves back to June 15, 2018.
