First Look: Michael Fassbender in ‘Assassin’s Creed’ movie
Mikael AssBender is going to be in the official adaptation of the UbiSoft game, AssCreed: Annual Annualization Profit. Here’s a first look at him in AssCreed garb.
New Regency and 20th Century Fox have unveiled the first look at “X-Men” star Michael Fassbender as Callum Lynch in “Assassin’s Creed.” Who’s Callum Lynch? Good question.
Directed by Justin Kurzel (“Snowtown,” “Macbeth”), the action-adventure follows Lynch who, through a revolutionary technology that unlocks his genetic memories, experiences the adventures of his ancestor Aguilar in 15th-century Spain. Discovering that he’s descended from a mysterious secret society called the Assassins, Lynch amasses the knowledge and skills to take on the oppressive Templar organization in the present.
If you can’t tell by that description, the film isn’t a retelling of the blockbuster video game franchise. Instead, it’s introduced new characters into that world.
Arriving Dec. 21, 2016, “Assassin’s Creed” also stars Marion Cotillard, Michael Kenneth Williams, and Ariane Labed. Filming is set to begin Monday.
