‘Daredevil’ dropping on Netflix in May 2015. Going to be all gritty and such.

Marvel ain’t just unleashing Ultron in May of 2015. The company is also planning on dropping Daredevil, their first show on Netflix, as well. And what exactly is the vibe of the Man Without Fear’s show? Apparently gritty.
Meanwhile, in something probably a bit more for adults, “Daredevil” is plowing ahead for Netflix. And as you might guess, it’s going to have some dirt under its fingernails. “We’re going for a very kind of gritty, 1970′s New York feel for the show,” showrunner Steven S. DeKnight said (via Flickering Myth). “We love the idea of beauty in the decay of the city and Hell’s Kitchen being a place that is both horrible and beautiful at the same time, and that’s why Matt Murdock loves it so much and wants to protect it.”
