Amazon will announce its own smartphone by June, according to a new report from Dow Jones. But you won’t be able to buy one that early: CNBC says the device is currently slated to ship in September. The online retailer has been rumored to be developing its own mobile device for years, but the product now appears to be nearly ready for launch. Dow Jones also corroborates other reports that the upcoming phone’s display will be capable of displaying 3D content without requiring users to wear special glasses — similar to the approach taken by Nintendo’s 3DS.
