‘EPISODE VII’ News: UK Stage Actress Up For Role

Aside from Adam Driver as the closest to a confirmed new role, a torrent of contenders including John Boyega, Ed Speelers, Matthew James Thomas, Ray Fisher, and Jesse Plemons have lingered still—so why not add a new potential frontrunner to the crowd?

THR reports J.J. Abrams and the “Star Wars” producing team have set about fulfilling their promise of fresh faces in the new franchise entry, as Oxford-educated newcomer Maisie Richardson-Sellers is rumored for an undisclosed supporting role. Caution is of course required—the outlet claims talk denying Sellers’ involvement is just as prevalent so far.
