Watch: ‘DEAD SPACE GRAPHIC NOVEL SHORT’ Is Beautiful, Seems To Confirm My Nightmare
I really want to enjoy this Dead Space Graphic Novel Short or whatever, but I can’t get over the hump. This hump, this spiked and cumbersome hump is what appears to be confirmation of Dead Space 3’s co-op mode. Oh Gods, so unnecessary.
The Verge:
A recently released graphic novel-style trailer set in the Dead Space universe introduces Earthgov Sergeant John Carver – a possible character in Dead Space 3.
The trailer features Carver in heated conversation with his wife followed by an attack on the Marker Site he is guarding. John must battle his way through the colony if he hopes to survive and understand his role in combating the Necromorph plague.
A post beneath the trailer on the official Dead Space website states, “This is just the start of John Carver’s saga in the Dead Space Universe.”
IGN reported earlier this month that in Dead Space 3, player-controlled character Issac will have the option to “fight alongside a man with a gnarly scar on his face, an engineering RIG of his own, and glowing red eyes peering from his helmet.” This red-eyed man in featured in the trailer, making an appearance shortly after the attack on the Marker Site. The snowy terrain featured in the trailer is also consistent with rumors that the game takes place on an ice planet.
