Trailer: ‘Prometheus’ Goes International, Features New Editing. Not New Footage.

There’s an international trailer for Prometheus, and it doesn’t feature a lick of new footage. However it does feature new…editing? And that’s got to count for something. (…I think?)

An international trailer for Ridley Scott‘s Prometheus arrived today, and at first I decided not to post it because there isn’t a single frame of new footage in it, as far as I can tell.

In fact, there’s less here, because this version of the trailer features no text to obscure the images. But watching it again in HD I realized that might be a good thing for some viewers – this is the same great trailer, same footage, same edit, same audio, but without the title slowly appearing on the screen, and with no tagline-filled cards between the edits.
