‘Avengers 2’ To Have New Team, Dr. Strange and Hulk TV News Too. Marvel Blitz!

Marvel President Kevin Feige dropped a goddamn blitzkrieg of information over the weekend at NYCC. News on Iron Man 3, Dr. Strange, the Hulk TV show, and oh yeah: Avengers 2.

Eat it up, swine.

Slashfilm:

We’re still several months out from The Avengers and fans are still only getting tiny glimpses of it, which is why everyone was so excited to see some of The Hulk during the panel (read more about that at The Hollywood Reporter). But once The Avengers is done, it’s all about phase two. Here’s what Feige said during the Comic-Con panel via The Playlist:

We’re in pre-production on a movie called Iron Man 3 right now. We’ve got a great director called Shane Black who’s taking the reins. It’s the first of what we refer to Phase Two of this Avengers Assemble talk, which will lead to an Avengers 2. Those movies will be a part of that.

As previously discussed, in addition to Iron Man 3, those movies will likely include Thor 2, Inhumans and Guardians of the Galaxy as well as a few others. And those other films will lead to a new line up being in The Avengers 2, according to a quote he gave to IGN.

Absolutely [there will be a new line up]. That’s the fun of it – introducing new characters. Seeing how will things change after Iron Man goes through his next adventure? After Thor goes through his next adventure? If we do another Cap adventure, how will things change? The dynamic between them? Their own worlds? So that the dynamic in Avengers 2 is actually quite different than it is in the first one.

Will that team include Doctor Strange? We know they’ve been registering domain names, hinting that the film is coming and Kevin Feige told IGN some very encourage news.

We also know a  HulkTV  series  is being developed (by Guillermo Del Toro no less) and while Mark Ruffalo won’t be reprising his role, it was revealed the CG Hulk from  The Avengerswould be very similar to what will appear on that show. Also, the show will be “the early years” of Hulk, featuring a younger Bruce Banner, and might end up linking up to the movies.

Thoughts, true believers?
