Juno Temple’s Role In ‘Dark Knight Rises’ Revealed! Maybe. Sorta?

I’ve abstained from a) reading set-photo reports and b) reporting on them for a while now. I’m not as stringent when it comes to casting rumors and the such. There’s a new report on Juno Temple’s potential role in Dark Knight Rises. Want to speculate? Let’s do it.

In their latest issue,  Total Film  (via  Comic Book Movie) reports that Temple will be playing the role of Holly Robinson, a young prostitute and Catwoman’s sidekick. Here’s the relevant bit from the article:

Then there’s the big one-The Dark  Knight  Rises, where Temple plays “street smart Gotham gal” Holly Robinson. Speculation has it that her Holly is the young prostitute first seen in Frank Miller’s Batman: Year One, and that she may be the sidekick to Anne Hathaway’s Catwoman.

Temple, for her part, says:

I can’t talk about that. But I think it’s going to be [frick]ing unbelievable. [Nolan] is awesome! There’s something really gentlemanly about him. He’s got an insane, incredible vision going on. Just getting the opportunity to work with him is awesome.

There’s so many moving parts and new characters in this flick that I have to admit the cynical part of me is a bit concerned. The rest of me? Has an internal monologue that goes “It’s fucking Christopher Nolan! Surely he can’t pull a Raimi-Lucas-Wachowski…right?! Fucking Nolan!“
