Japan Gets A Swank As Hell Resident Evil 15th Anniversary Box.

Japan is getting itself a sexy-object gaming monument to the Resident Evil franchise this Fall. Or should I call it the Biohazard franchise? No, Wolverine! Wait, where was I? Oh yeah, Japan. Swank ass Resident Evil anniversary box. Right, right.

Destructoid:

Capcom has announced a massive Resident Evil 15th Anniversary Box bundle that allows you to put all of those old copies in a box and never look at them again. The Anniversary Box, set to be released on September 8, can only be purchased through the Japanese e-Capcom store.

It includes PS1 discs for the Japanese versions of Resident Evil: Director’s Cut, Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, the PS3 HD pack Resident Evil: Revival Selection which includes Resident Evil Code: Veronica and Resident Evil 4, soundtrack CDs for RE4 and Code: Veronica, and “pins and stickers (S.T.A.R.S. and Umbrella).” Finally, you get a “spacer” for Resident Evil 5 so you can store it in this box, because that game isn’t part of this bundle for some reason.

The whole box sells for 7,800 Yen. That would be around $96, but simply calculating the Dollar price is never a good indication when it comes to Japanese prices, so the best you can do is save up in case Capcom decides to release the bundle in other regions as well. Or you could just import it.

I’m not a big enough Resident Evil fan to begin contemplating this purchase. Still though, it’s fucking hotness.
